Hoshimiya Toto + SOZEN OTSUBO drop new single "Shade" — with a simultaneous spatial audio experience

A new current in music has arrived. The long-awaited project from vocalist Hoshimiya Toto and sound producer SOZEN OTSUBO is finally underway. "Shade," the lead single from the five-track EP『Beyond the Binary』set for release on November 20, 2024, dropped on October 10.

Beyond its standard Apple Music release, the track is also available in spatial audio using Dolby Atmos, letting listeners enjoy an immersive, three-dimensional sound experience like never before. Capturing every ounce of the music's breadth and depth, the new single is the very essence of SOZEN OTSUBO's meticulous engineering.

What's more, at 19:00 the same day, an official audio video crafted by TAMURA Ikuho premiered on Hoshimiya Toto's YouTube channel, its dreamlike visuals bringing the song's world into even sharper focus.
